Building Character

'Building Character' at The Deanes is an embodiment of our Promise #4: Extensive opportunities for personal development will equip our students with the skills, attributes and values needed for future life.

We use our 'Building Character' model to link all aspects of life at The Deanes and explicitly demonstrate how we are embedding our Promise#4 in lessons and through extra-curricular activities.  It encompasses RHSE, SMSC and Careers Education, as well as our "innovative" Challenger Sessions (Ofsted, 2019).
