We seek to appoint a Programme Leader of Humanities for our small and thriving Humanities Department.  The ideal candidate will be an inspirational classroom practitioner who is organised and innovative and has a passion to improve learning for all students.  They will be able to teach History and/or Geography across a range of abilities and disciplines.  The ability to teach RS/Ethics would be an advantage.

A Lead Practitioner - Maths

  • Salary: LP3 – LP9 Depending on Experience

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Lead Practitioner in Maths to support the Programme Leader in developing the team to ensure the delivery of high quality teaching & learning and build upon the 10% rise in GCSE Maths results this year.    The ideal candidate will be a proven outstanding classroom practitioner who is self-motivated, organised and innovative with a passion to improve learning for all students.  The successful applicant will be able to teach Maths across a range of abilities.

The well-being of our staff is a high priority.  All staff at The Deanes have access to high quality training to further develop their teaching practice.  There is robust programme of support for NQTs. Staff can take advantage of free gym membership and we are fortunate to have an onsite children’s nursery which may be able to accommodate your childcare needs. 

The Deanes is well situated in South East Essex, with good links to public transport.  We are situated within ten minutes of Benfleet and Rayleigh Rail Stations, where a 45 minute train journey will take you into London.  There is also ample car parking onsite.
